The automobile brand will be one-hundred and twenty years old on 22 August 2022, and Atomicat Records shines its headlights onto the Cadillac car with an inspiring variety of songs. The concept of the Cadillac car was the brainchild of; William Murphy, Lemuel Bowen, and Henry M. Leland who designed the first-ever Cadillac car in 1902, and this album is dedicated to them and their automobile which became synonymous with the "Fabulous Fifties." Atomicat Records Anniversary series celebrates 120 Years of the Cadillac Car (ACCD117) with thirty motorvatin' songs from 1948 through to 1962 paying homage to the gadget-laden "Fabulous Fifties" dream car. The featured songs were inspired by the automobile whether in title, verse, or simply the artists took the group name from a Ford model. The featured songs are all from the years 1957 to 1963, and showcase prime recordings in the following genres; Rockabilly, Rock 'n' Roll, pop, and Country. Gracing the album with their musical presence are; "Big" John Taylor, Marty Robbins, Sonny Hines, Darrell McCall, Carl Smith, Ray Smith, Charlie Rich, and several others. The CD album further more includes the Dixie version of Spin The Bottle which was the undubbed master leased to Shelby Singleton who added his name to the writing credits. The sapient creature Frankenstein joins in on the fun stomping his big feet as he journeys on the downbound train into a living hell! In 2021 we experimented with using a thematic approach to Halloween, and not using overly reissued novelty songs. As we are aging these songs are mainly juvenile, and should already be in your collection. This worked extremely well, and we made a loose connection to the pagan celebration with a theme. The company's distribution agents kept on ordering more copies of the album, and we knew our customers were happy with the idea. In 2023 we continue the concept of using related topics and look at space travel using rocking songs. The album’s twenty-eight titles look at intergalactic travel and creatures from another world. The celestial assortment of rockin’ songs is about; Flyin' Saucer Boogie, Rockin' On The Moon, Satellite Love, and Astronauts.
