Singer and double bass player PETER and his comrades-in-arms REX (guitar, vocals) and RICHARD (drums, vocals) have played at least 50 shows at national and international venues every year since their foundation in 2012 and have thus acquired an enormous performer sovereignty, which is also a plus point in the studio. On the basis of modern recorded Rock'n'Roll and Rockabilly, the Belgian band likes to tear out swing, country or jump blues, fills the stage in the studio with brass or Hammond organ, but always focuses on the highly energetic interaction as a compact trio, including growling Gretsch riffs. The 13 songs, from ballads like ''Last Night" to wildly drifting rockers like ''Throw Down", are very varied and atmospheric, although the energy level is kept very high throughout, ''Hit Me Up" is just as suitable for listening to as it is for a fast sole. The numerous fans of "Modern Rockabilly" will certainly be grateful for this more than impeccable debut album.
